INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Our train-the-trainer programs allow you to become an American Red Cross instructor and train others to save lives. To become an instructor, follow these steps:
    American Red Cross Instructor Training
  • Contact the American Red Cross Western Colorado Chapter
  • Hold a recent and current Community First Aid and Safety certification (current on CPR and First Aid)
  • Take the Instructor Training Course
  • Complete an authorized provider agreement. An AP agreement lets you offer American Red Cross health and safety programs at your facility or organization, with your own instructors who have completed our "train-the-trainer" courses. Becoming an authorized provider allows an organization to:
    • Address regulatory issues specific to your business or organization
    • Cost-effectively reach large groups
    • Create in-house experts familiar with your emergency procedures and equipment
    • Schedule training on a regular basis, when it's convenient for you
    • Enjoy direct technical support from your local American Red Cross chapter
    • Work with America's best instructor training and support system
